Bucks: Bucks lose another - as usual this time of season
|
|
From NBA,
The Bucks couldnt snap their home losing streak as Memphis beat them 107-102 at the Bradley Center for the first time since 2005. Richard Jefferson scored 24 to pass 10,000 career points.
From me
"I really can''t wait until this season is over. Same damn thing with the Bucks every year! These are not professional athletes on the Bucks. Anybody can go out on the floor and get the same record if not better than the Bucks do. It''s a disgrace to Milwaukee year after year. There is no chemistry on the team regardless of what people say. The Bucks are never a consistent team unless it comes to losing. Lets see what other slogan we can come up with next year to bullshit everybody into thinking the Bucks are a real team"

at Phoenix, Ariz. Wednesday, April 1
D-backs at the plate: Felipe Lopez had two hits and three RBIs, and Tony Clark finished with three hits and scored two runs for Arizona, which built leads of 3-0 and 6-2 before Milwaukee staged a comeback. Lopez''''''''s two-run home run in the sixth inning was his first of the spring. Chad Tracy added a solo home run, his second.
Brewers at the plate: Minor Leaguer Steffan Wilson hit a go-ahead, two-run double to cap a four-run Milwaukee seventh inning that gave the Brewers their first lead of the afternoon. Right fielder Corey Hart stayed hot with two hits, including a two-run homer, his seventh in the Cactus League, and the Brewers won for the 11th time in their last 14 games. Hart was robbed of a second two-run homer in the sixth inning, when Arizona''''''''s Justin Upton made a leaping catch in right field.

first round of the West Regional.
The Golden Eagles blew a 14-point lead, then overcame a 49-43

It took a superhero effort by the Bucks to beat the Celtics Sunday
afternoon. Wednesday''''s matchup against the Magic won''''t be any easier. The Bucks have to find a way to stop Superman-Dwight Howard who has been dominating down low this season.

One year after winning the Big Ten Tournament championship, the Badgers stay in Indianapolis was much shorter in 2009.
Wisconsin fell in a quarter-final match up in the to Ohio State, 61-57, Friday afternoon at Conseco Fieldhouse. Wisconsin built a seven point lead with five minutes remaining but failed to close out the Buckeyes in the games closing minutes.

NEW YORK, New York (AP) - Dwayne Anderson''''s
last-second layup fell in as the buzzer sounded and his only field goal
of the game gave No. 10 Villanova a 76-75 victory over No. 21 Marquette
on Thursday in the quarterfinals of the Big East tournament.
The fourth-seeded Wildcats (26-6) led by 17 points in the first
half, but Marquette took its first lead since the game''''s early minutes
on a 3-pointer by Lazar Hayward that made it 75-74 with 1:40 to play.

Wesley Matthews scored 20 points and No. 21 Marquette snapped a four-game losing streak by holding St. John''''s to a Big East tournament-record 10 points in the first half on the way to a 74-45 victory Wednesday.
Lazar Hayward
added 17 points for the fifth-seeded Golden Eagles (24-8), who advanced to Thursday''''s quarterfinals against fourth-seeded and 10th-ranked Villanova. It was the first Marquette win since the loss of starting point guard Dominic James to a broken left foot. The Golden Eagles needed him in the four losses -- all to ranked teams -- but they didn''''t need him in the rout of St. John''''s, their ninth straight win over the Red Storm, a streak that dates to 1966.
